Summer is looking loud and fun for Portland! Just announced, State Theatre Presents will be promoting concerts at a new outdoor concert site in Portland. Located at the intersection of Commercial Street and Franklin Arterial, Concerts on the Waterfront at Ocean Gateway (CWOG is how I’ll probably refer to it) will be an exciting new site for the State Theatre’s first announced (read: more on the way!) outdoor concert event, with sweeping views of Casco Bay. Where, exactly? The queuing lanes at the entrance of the Ocean Gateway Terminal!
Guster with Ra Ra Riot on August 6th (I always love seeing RRR) is the first announced show at the new site. Tickets for this all ages concert go on sale Friday, April 22nd at 10am online, by phone (800-745-3000), and at the Civic Center in Portland.
We recently announced that in addition to the City’s own annual outdoor concerts series, KahBang will be presenting live music on the Portland waterfront as well. Get ready for a lot of music this summer!
