This week, local electronic music collective We Push Buttons is taking over the whole city, with a slew of shows across many of the venues in town showcasing the different labels and genres that they represent. 9pm @ The Big Easy | Hip Hop Open Mic Special Presentation [$5]
Each and every Wednesday at the Big Easy is Hip Hop Open Mic Night. To help kick off the WPB:EMF, HHOM hosts Sandbag throw a special show featuring performances by Educated Advocates, Luch & Eliza, Labseven, Slouch & Adam B. After the showcases will be open mic until last call featuring live beats straight out the samplers from Shupe and Slouch & Adam. B.

Sammy Bananas (Fool’s Gold Records) returns to Portland after traveling the entire globe, having shared stages with anyone who’s anyone in the world-class tier. Joined by one of Portland’s most skilled DJ talents and an architect of underground party culture in this state, popgirl23. Miss Fairchild just added as special guests, reuniting with Sammy Bananas for the first time on over a year!
