Unfortunately one of the bands broke up, one split in half (becoming a solo act), and another had to pull out . . . → Read More: The Maine World Tour, This Weekend]]> It was a great idea to put together a tour with three bands to travel throughout the state of Maine, playing a couple official shows and roadside gigs, and to document it all. Unfortunately one of the bands broke up, one split in half (becoming a solo act), and another had to pull out due to a medical emergency. It would make sense to cancel, right? No, of course not! The Maine World Tour is still on (and on Twitter). This is the official word from S-Bot (formerly of Feel It Robot), who will be roaming the state this weekend with Aly Spaltro (Lady Lamb The Beekeeper).

We’ll be hitting as many towns as we can from Thursday the 9th through Saturday the 11th. Two ladies in a tiny four door compact with a few planned places to be but mostly just a couple of Gazetteers, some drums and guitars and two sleeping bags.

Their journey ends on Saturday at Empire. Hopefully Dylan Martin (occasional HillyTown contributor and frontman for Tony Smokes & The Ladykillers) is fully recovered and able to play!
