Not a partnership with the City of Portland at all. In fact, when I talked to the city this morning they had no idea about said ‘partnership’ with KahBang.
Lauren and those concerned,
By partnership we meant that we were allowed by the City to use their facilities. The State Pier falls under their jurisdiction, and we required their permission (via a Council vote) to begin operations.
I’m sorry for any confusion.
Regards,
Chris
Sorry if that was unclear at all – I wasn’t implying a partnership between the City of Portland and KahBang – just that the post was about outdoor shows put on by the City, and shows put on by KahBang.
