I know I keep saying it, but A Robot has been doing a great job throwing awesome free shows at Flask Lounge. If you’re into fun, loud, diy-style shows on the floor of a neighborhood bar, these are for you. The fact that it’s the home of the Moxie Bomb (careful with those, kids) is just an added bonus. On Thursday I got back into town just in time to get out to this show. Conveniently, some NYC friends of mine – The Whisperians – were on the bill, along with three of Maine’s most animated, tight, and exciting underground bands: Powers (playing their last show?), Pamola, and Captain Hollow. These are some great photos. This was a fun night and that Jacob and Ryan of Captain Hollow for getting Powers and Pamola on board. I loved seeing people move in that small space. It makes these free shows that more magical. 🙂
