The second year of the HillyTown OFFStage @SPACE concert series is in full swing. We started the all ages, early Tuesday evening, suggested donation concerts last week with Domino Harvey (formely known as Lapsed Axis), Same Basic Bear, and Miniboone. Thanks to the bands, everybody who came to the show (especially those who donated to help pay the touring band), and Otto Pizza for helping out to feed the musicians and staff! Photos!

The second installation in this year’s three-part series happens tonight at SPACE Gallery! As always the shows start at 7pm, all ages are welcome, and there’s a $5 suggested donation to help pay for the bands’ gas money. This time we’ve got an eclectic lineup of bands with Brooklyn’s Balthrop, Alabama headlining (tune into Liberation By Sound on WMPG this afternoon from 3pm-5pm to hear a live set and interview from the band!), Cambridge, MA’s Doomstar! returning to Portland with the middle slot, and Bangor, Maine’s own buzzy Good Kids Sprouting Horns starting things off. This will also be the tour kickoff show for GKSH, check out their tour poster and catch them on the East coast this week!
