Pretty Purgatory release a new 7-inch with Jacob Augustine and Bad Braids today

Yes, that’s a brand-spanking-new music video for “Salvation” from the seemingly boundless mind of Portland’s Jacob Augustine — which means just one thing — brand new music.

Released through the musician’s and artist’s collective, Pretty Purgatory, Augustine’s newest release is a split 7-inch with fellow collective members, Bad Braids and their track “Glory, Glory.”

The limited edition release features collaborative art and design between Bad Braids own Megan Biscieglia, Tom Ryan, and Jakob Battick. The 7-inch was released today — so what are you waiting for.

Pick up a physical copy or stream it now on Pretty Purgatory’s Bandcamp.

If that’s not enough Jacob Augustine for you, according to Pretty Purgatory’s head honcho, Peter McLaughlin, a full-length release is being planned for later this year.

Speaking of Pretty Purgatory — we had a chance to sit-down with McLaughlin to talk Pretty Purgatory, running a label from the ground-up and exactly what is the state of Portland’s Milkman’s Union. Look for that interview in the near future, right here, on HillyTown.
