Dead Man's Clothes, voted best new act of 2010 by Portland Phoenix readers, will be heading out on tour to Texas this March and they are throwing a going away party at the Apohadion. Their most recent release, Ice Is War, has been featured in several best of 2010 lists including the Portland Phoenix. Over the past year DMC have played with Maps & Atlases, Marnie Stern, Drink Up Buttercup and were granted a showcase at CMJ 2010 in Brooklyn, NY.

Dirty Dishes began 2010 by playing a sold out show at House of Blues with Boston natives Passion Pit. They have since shared the stage with Autolux, Gobble Gobble & Bear Hands, played several shows at SXSW including two packed nights at the Austin Museum of Art, traveled to Toronto as an official NXNE artist, and snagged the front page of the Arts & Entertainment section of The Weekly Dig in Boston. They have been getting regular airplay on Boston's top alternative rock station WFNX, as well as college radio stations across the country and were just featured in NYLON magazine.

Marie Stella is a 4-piece band from Portland who play loud, noisy pop songs. Their debut ep, TRUST, quickly sold out following its June '10 release, and the band is currently working on a series of digital singles to be released throughout 2011. They've played at the CMJ Music Marathon (NYC '09, '10), Northside Music Fest (Brooklyn '10), and Deep Heaven Now Fest (Somerville, MA '10), as well as opening slots for The Hold Steady, Screaming Females, and Land Of Talk.
