Kira Kira / Dygn /

Kira Kira is Kristín Björk Kristjánsdóttir on thumb piano, music boxes and all kinds of toys wired with contact mikes. She’s a founding member of the Iceland art collective known as “Kitchen Motors” and has worked with compatriots Mum, Sigur Ros, and Slowblow. She’ll be joined by some of the fine musicians in Parachutes who blew the doors off a quiet tuesday night here last August! Fellow Icelander Kippi Kaninus opens along with Maryland’s ambient troubadour, Dygn.
