Fur at PICNIC 2014
Tara and Brian Cohen, along with Greg Bazinet — maybe you remember them from The Rattlesnakes (RIP)? — just dropped a bit of an exclusive for us at HillyTown about their new(ish) band, Fur.
The trio’s debut LP; the follow-up to their far-too-short release Sun Singles from the summer of last year, will be titled 2 Hearted Horse — and for some reason, will be released on the 20th of next month (any ideas why?).
Want more Fur? The trio is playing a show at Mathew’s Pub in Portland this Wednesday night with aLEX kEATON and The Lopez, from Pennsylvania.
It gets even better — on April 7, the band will be performing with HillyTown favorites, Screaming Females at SPACE.
The New Jersey trio is on the road supporting their newest release on Don Giovanni Records, Rose Mountain and will also be joined by fellow label mates Mitski; who themselves are touring to support their newest release (and an early contender for album title of the 2015) Bury Me At Makeout Creek.
Tickets are still available for that 18+ show and can be bought online right now, or the day of the show (unless the show sells out! Don’t tell us we didn’t warn you if it does).
