HillyTown contest: Duncan Sheik tickets + CD

I know this may seem a little out of the ordinary for HillyTown, but I figured I’d give it a try and see how you all like it. Duncan Sheik may be a bit outside my usual realm of music coverage, but I really like the illustrations and animation style of the video for “Earthbound Starlight” (see below) so when I was asked to consider running a contest, I decided to go for it. His new album, Whisper House, is apparently a concept album about a boy who lives in a haunted lighthouse, as you’ll see in the video. On Thursday, March 12, Duncan Sheik will be playing at Port City Music Hall.

For a chance to win a pair of tickets to the March 12th show in Portland and a copy of Whisper House, send an email with your name, mailing address, and phone number to hello@hillytown.com. One winner will be picked randomly from the entries. Contest ends at 5pm on Tuesday March 10. Your information will be kept private, and used only to contact the winner of this particular contest. Note: The show at Port City Music Hall is 21+, so keep that in mind when entering the contest!
