Last week, local promoter extraordinaire A Robot put on another excellent free show at Flask (careful with those Moxie Bombs!). If you haven’t been making it out to these, you’ve been missing something real special. For this occasion, the bands were all female-fronted, and I especially appreciated the increasing number of band members onstage through the night (1, 2, 3!). There were a lot of HillyTown-loved acts involved, starting with Sugar Hiccup (who had been scheduled to play a show we did back in December but had to cancel), When Particles Collide (who have played a show for us and recently did a field report on Arootsakoostic), and of course the theoretical HillyTown house band, Mango Floss (who played our Free Range Fest party and will join us on the boat and at PICNIC). Such a fun night of music! Read on for the photos!
