The date for the 3rd Annual Picnic Music+Arts Festival has been announced as Saturday, August 28, 2010! Once again the location will be Lincoln Park on Congress Street and Franklin Arterial, in Portland ME and the festival will run from 11am to 6pm, rain or shine. Go here to apply to be a vendor. Portland Pins has had a presence at the festival for both the annual and 2009’s winter Picnic.
Esente Music Group is searching for Maine’s best bands to appear on a nationally distributed and promoted digital compilation CD. The CD will promote drunk driving awareness in both the state of Maine and Nationally.
This project is 100% FREE to the musicians. You retain 100% of your publishing as well. If selected your music will be promoted nationally for free.
Fans will listen to and download the music for free and will receive drunk driving prevention information in the process. Each band will appear in a PSA style drunk driving prevention ad. These ads will appear next to posters created by college and high school students from across America.
You can save lives with your music and be promoted all at once.
We will use one of your songs on the album to promote the anti-drinking and driving message.
Submit your music in MP3 or WAV form with song title, band name, band location, and website or myspace url to rockersmaine@esentemusicgroup.com
If selected you will receive the following:
– Your music will be distributed to 250,000 people digitally.
– Your music will appear on our CD release web page as well as all our social network sites like Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook
– Your local newspaper will be contacted with the story of you using your time and talent to help save lives.
– Your band will appear on an ad agency quality anti-drunk driving poster.
