By now you’re used to the name change and feel totally cool calling the rad little bar at 189 Congress Street in Portland Mama’s Crowbar, not any of its previous monikers, right? Ok, great! Then with that in mind, head down (or up, West Enders) Munjoy Hill to the bar at 7pm tonight for the second installment of the Scratchpad Reading Series! The first event (photos) was a lot of fun, and the bar got nice and cozy with a full house of attentive listeners (conveniently, also beer-drinkers) so I’d expect the same tonight. Please note that after this month, the series will go quarterly, so your next chance to cozy up next to the piano with a beer in hand and hear from the likes of Natalya Fedorova MacWilliams, Christopher Gray, and Jefferson Navicky (actually that’s who will be reading tonight, next time will be a whole new crew) won’t come until August!
Special bonus for tonight: Scratchpad creator Mary will have cute, limited-edition Scratchpad bookmarks for you! Don’t lose track of your page or the upcoming Scratchpad dates!
