In case you missed our post last week when we went record shopping with the Portland Art rock trio Leveret, they’re continuing to support their debut album Action At A Distance with a show tonight at One Longfellow Square.
Tickets are still available for tonight’s all ages show, the second-to-last of the venue’s Live and Local Winter 2015 Series. Doors open at 9 P.M. tickets cost only $5 — but seating is limited.
“I think the Live and Local series is great,” said Jesse Gertz of Leveret. “I’ve been to a couple and they’ve been a relaxed, fun vibe — more so than most regular shows I go to.”
Also sharing the bill with Leveret tonight, will be fellow intellectual synth rock duo mr.NEET, who’s newest album Pop Songs was released just last month and is available on their Bandcamp.
“I think Mr. Neet is some of the coolest, more interesting sounds coming out of Portland,” added Gertz. “I love the bleeps, and I love the bloops. I’m all about those bloops.”
