There’s a new installment in Pitchfork’s POV Concert Series (you can pick from 6 angles as you watch the video) and this time the featured act is The Hold Steady. Check it out here. They’ll be here in Portland on Tuesday, October 19th to play at Port City Music Hall. I’m excited to say that Marie Stella (the band I play in) is opening that one.
Also, in oddly non-musical news of the morning, today we get Lady Gaga at a rally to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in Deering Oaks Park at 4pm. We’ve been having fun proposing secret concerts and afterparties on Twitter.
