"Atlanta’s The Howlies are cut from the same analog cloth as their city-mates The Black Lips. They’ve only been around for a year, but their rocket-launch success ,especially with producer Kim Fowley (Modern Lovers, Germs) at the helm of the record, is testament to the welcome sound of real rock band on the scene. Their live show is the kind of experience that leads brooklynvegan to call the band “a musical Slaughterhouse Five”.
