The Apohadion Theatre Presents Pillars and Tongues, on tour from Chicago, grace us with tunes reminiscent of Dirty Three, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Moondog, etc; haunting and dark folklore, sparse and thoughtful. Tempera will return after a long hiatus due to Nick and Corinna being abroad. It's going to be a good one, however, not even we know what's going to happen. Tin Ceilings return with members of the Orchards and Plains performing some "song-swap" with Tempera. Stay tuned because this should get interesting. And the long awaited return of Anti-Friend Hut. Crank Sturgeon and Patrick Corrigan perform actions of legendary status. I've heard this will involve being suspended from rafters, paintings by local artists, and contact microphones. This all happens for the donation of 5-10 dollars to benefit touring artists as well as The Apohadion Theatre This all happens at 8pm. Please come and enjoy merriment." |
