The Fogcutters are a 21 piece big band with a fresh approach to a traditional style of music that incorporates modern sounds and a melting pot of musical styles. The band plays standard big band repertoire but isn’t afraid to cross into uncharted territories. The Fogcutters are proud to back the lush and soulful vocal stylings of Stephanie Davis and Phil Divinsky. Boasting 13 horns, a rockin’ rhythm section, and two of Portland’s brightest voices, it’s hard not to love The Fogcutters style and energy.

The Fogcutters will be presenting original arrangements of Maine’s biggest musical acts as well as their own original material at The State Theater on December 2, 2011; these acts have dozens of Portland Phoenix Best Music Poll awards combined. So come hear your favorite music like you have never heard it before.

Tickets are on sale now and available in person at the Cumberland County Civic Center Box Office, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 and online at www.statetheatreportland.com. Tickets can also be purchased at any Bull Moose Music store.

$10 in advance, $15 day of show / General Admission, All Ages.
